She was using a plastic bucket. Very attractive with the copper finish. Bought based on premise that the ceramic ones were much heavier. Now her countertop looks beautiful once again and no more pesky fruit flies.

This is an awesome and practical way to place my fresh compost items. This is an awesome and practical way to place my fresh compost items in house, until able to place in compost pile outside. No odor and very pretty in kitchen.

Pricey for a refuse bin, but it’s so cute. I felt a little extravagant paying an extra $10 for copper finish on a bin for potato peels. But it looks so pretty on the counter. Lightweight, strong, easy to wash. We don’t bother with the charcoal filters; we just empty the thing instead.

Pieces in there) and the lid comes off very easy which is handy when busy prepping or if you. There is absolutely no smell (even with onion peels and pieces in there) and the lid comes off very easy which is handy when busy prepping or if you have hand problems like me. The only issue i have is that mine came with some rub marks on it so the finish is not that great, however, that was not enough to make me go through the trouble of returning. Because of that i do not think i would buy again.

How crazy can you be about something that holds rotting food?. I like it, very attractive and does the trick. If only it came with someone to take this out to our green waste bin in the dark.
