Rubbermaid Stackable Recycling Bin, Love these! Bought 6 for myself then my daughter

It’s very compact and easy to carry. It’s a rubbermaid bin so it’s very easy to wipe out, too. It is also short enough so that my grand-kids can participate in the recycling. I only have one so i can’t speak to the stability of the units when stacked.

Sturdy, easily used, exceded expectations. Ordered two and even happier with them when they arrived and i put them in my kitchen. They are stackable, and they are steady and easily used when stacked. Color in photo true to color on bin – actually matches the new paint in my kitchen and the black accents. Easily cleaned, easily taken to the recycling site, easily unloaded.

Bought two: they stack easily and securely. Depth of bin and height of lid make carrying recyclables out to the curb an easy process rain or shine.

Comments from buyers

“They stack well and I like the way the door drops down, Love these! Bought 6 for myself then my daughter , Easy to use recycling bin”

Sturdy, stackable, and easy to identify. A great idea for apartment dwellers especially.

I can fit a lot of stuff in one. When i did buy it i think it said below it was 30 gallon but it wasn’t and that’s ok.

Works exactly as described and for me in an apartment.

Which is great for saving space. We bought a few of these for the garage to separate our recyclables as we do not currently have single stream recycling. They stack on top of each other, which is great for saving space. The kids appreciate that the doors open up easily so they can help with the sorting.

They stack well and i like the way the door drops down. We got one for paper and one for bottles/cans to put outside our back door. They stack well and i like the way the door drops down. I don’t think i would put them directly down for the recycling truck to empty though. They don’t seem sturdy enough to get thrown around and take that kind of beating.

We’re using it for recycled plastics, glass, etc. It won’t hold a large amount but its about two weeks worth for us. We only have one so i don’t know how it will stack. I wouldn’t use it for newspapers as the swinging door won’t fit a standard size newspaper through it without folding it over.

These were just what i was looking for. I stack them and they fit perfect in the spot i had available.

Door can be a little annoying (push down on the top and open outward). Door can be a little annoying (push down on the top and open outward), but its a fine recycling bin. We only have one so aren’t taking advantage of the stackability.

Need more – replacing all those plastic garbage cans.

Good design except the door gets really dirty and needs to be cleaned all the time. Maybe a side swinging door would have been better.
