Bell Automotive 22-1-38996-8 Small Pop-Up Trash Can – Just the right size

Great little trash can for your car. Great little trash can for your car. It is small, but works great for me. It has a velcro strip on the bottom so it stays in place while driving. I haven’t had any issues with it.

Brilliant trash can for the car. This trash can does just what you want it to. I can’t believe i ever got by without one. We keep it in the console space between the front and back seat. There is a velcro patch on the bottom that keeps it attached to the carpet and keeps it from sliding around or tipping over. When not in use, the pill-shaped clips at the top can be used to hold the can in a flattened mode suitable for storage. The material is tough, and it is well-made and will likely last a long time.

Holds a fair amount of trash. Problem is, its not weighted. I had to sew curtain weights into the bottom to keep it from falling over all the time. Consider a redesign to weigh the bottom. Here are the specifications for the Bell Automotive 22-1-38996-8 Small Pop-Up Trash Can:

  • Convenient size measures at 7.5 inches x 6.5 inches

  • Securely attaches to floor of vehicle
  • Keeps trash picked up and off the floor
  • Bell Automotive enjoy your ride

It is perfect for receipts and the occasional soda bottle or can. Exactly what i needed for my car. Yes it is small, the title and descriptions give the measurements. It is perfect for receipts and the occasional soda bottle or can.

Finally a nice trash container for my car. It had a velcro piece on the bottom which did not work for me as i have rubber floor mats over my carpeted mats. I will add a velcro piece to the side of the container and that should work fine for me. Well made and an excellent buy.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • these and use grocery store bags inside them for garbage. They stay upright and in place and are
  • what they don’t tell you
  • Construction is good. Problem is

Purchased this for an ‘in the tent bedside trash’ and it worked perfectly. Plan to purchase another one for the cars as this is the perfect size.

Is that there’s a little piece of velcro on the bottom so it gently sticks to the floor in your car – awesome. I have a scion xb and this was the perfect size for the back seat :).

Works great, some means of attaching it to the seat or center console would be ideal though.

A lot smaller than expected — but is labeled correctly — and works well for intended purpose.

Great for car and scrapbooking. I have one in my car which is perfect and the other i take with me when i go to scrapbooking events. Perfect size to put on the table to put scraps in.

The trash can itself is great – however. The trash can itself is great – however, the velcro really doesn’t stick to much. It was no match for my cadillac’s carpet or my mazda’s carpet, one of which is plush and the other of which is more traditional (i’ll let you guess which is which). I suggest putting something weighted in the bottom (a heavy washer was my solution) to keep this standing up straight, otherwise you’ll likely as not be picking the garbage back up off your floor.

Good for random garbage in car. Wish it had a weight to hold it upright, otherwise it works fine. Good for random garbage in car. Little but holds a couple of tall starbucks cups easily. I used a command strip to hook it to side of passenger console and it works well. Just have to move it if someone sits there unless they don;t mind looking at trash.

Should have gotten the bigger onebut i love it. I love the idea of a portable trash can when you work in places that don’t provide an abundance of waste baskets in the work place. I work on assignment and not every company concerns themselves with contractors. You pretty much have to fend for yourself. I wasn’t expecting for it to be extremely small. It works perfect in a car when you’re on the go, but when you’re working 8 hours a day you need more space. This is the perfect portable trash can so i want to keep it. Instead i want to purchase an additional one but much bigger. I will keep this one for my car.

This is super functional and has made my car that much cleaner – as now my passengers have a place to put any trash. It is small so i do need to empty it at a greater frequency than other car garbage cans but the upside is it prevents my car from becoming a trash pit or smelling because of garbagei highly recommend this little gem.

I bought this to use in my car so i could throw away straw wrappers, gum wrappers and tissues, it works great. It’s not the largest, which i like because i have to empty it more often and don’t let it fill up with too much stuff. It has a small velcro square on the bottom to stick to the floor. In my car, it will not stick to the floor mat, so i have it behind the center console on the floor where the hump is. I like it here anyway because it is out of my eyesight and out of the front passengers foot area.

These and use grocery store bags inside them for garbage. They stay upright and in place and are. I added a small zip lock bag of glass marbles to the bottom of these and use grocery store bags inside them for garbage. They stay upright and in place and are a prefect size for the backseat of our cars.

Although i was looking for a bigger pop up this worked fine in my car and is as described in the ad.

Umbra Venti 16-Gallon Swing-Top Trash Can – Venti Swing Top Trash Can review

For a garbage can, this is absolutely beautiful and unique. Very nice size and well made. So pleased to find one with copper, as this is my favorite color in design. Highly recommend this, if you are looking for a little dazzle in a overlooked piece that normally gets trashed.

Absolutely love this trash can. Absolutely love this trash can, i love the height and how easy it is to hide my 13 gallon trash bags. It is very easy to clean, and looks very attractive in my kitchen. Here are the specifications for the Umbra Venti 16-Gallon Swing-Top Trash Can:

  • Sleek swing-top waste can

I didn’t realize it would be possible to love a garbage can (i’m gettin’ old. I didn’t realize it would be possible to love a garbage can (i’m gettin’ old) but this thing is awesome. It’s nice and tall so i really can use all the space in my garbage bags, which saves money. The silver ring around it holds bags up without them slipping.

Reviews from purchasers :

  • It’s big, which is exactly what I wanted

  • Everything I wanted

It appears to be heavy duty, but it is extremely lightweight. Aside from that, this is everything i’ve ever wanted in a kitchen trash receptacle. I kid you not, it has taken me years to find what i want. Something large and stylish and not too pricey. (only gripe is the small section of missing paint on the ‘bronze’ section).

It’s big, which is exactly what i wanted. I looked all over town for a big kitchen trash can and couldn’t find one. Wasn’t having much luck online either until i entered the brand name of my old one in a search – umbra. Evidently big trash cans aren’t the thing. So, there wasn’t much choice on color, but i was satisfied with the black and silver. Also, maybe my trash can liners are too big or i’m too lazy to adjust them to being hidden, because mine are never hidden. The silver ring does make for something extra to wash. But that’s the price i had to pay to get one big enough, because sometimes size does matter. Also, amazingly i got this in somewhere around 24 hours after i ordered it, on a saturday – couldn’t be happier about that.

Umbra venti swing top trash can review. Affordable with a nice design and good quality. Bags stays securely in place with the durable ring. Be advised when the trash can is close to being full the lid can get caught on the garbage. However, this is not a game changer as the top is easy to remove. I recommend as it looks great and the price is right. Will look good in a modern design kitchen or traditional style kitchen.

Holds so much more than the other dinky cans you pay too much money for. I use the 30 gal bags and works perfect.Love the swing lid vs the other pedal or lift lids that break with hardly any use. Matches my black/ stainless appliances perfectly. I would def recommend this can over any of the others that ive had in the past. It was fast to arrive and the price is awesome.

Camco 43961 Cabinet Mount Trashcan 3 quart – Pretty good. If there were a lot of better

Thought this was a bit too expensive for what it is. But it just the size i needed and works well. I used 3m adhesive strips instead of the provided screws.

Bought two of these: one to put in the bathroom, one to hang on the wall under our desk. In a small condo, saving every bit of space is imperative. With cats, having a closed trash can helps immensely. Having one that mounts to the wall – so the little beasties can’t/don’t jump into the can, or knock it over to play with the wadded paper balls (what we call trash), is even more helpful 🙂 just got these, haven’t even hung them yet, but can already tell that they are the solution we needed and wanted. As other reviewers noted, these are small, but for a bathroom or a desk area – where we mostly toss out small post it notes, etc. Fair price given that finding these kinds of solutions is difficult. Also, having them mounted on the wall and/or cabinet will make vacuuming and mopping a tad bit easier which is never a bad thing. 11these have been installed for about a month or so, and so far are holding up well. Very easy to empty: the lid just lifts off, remove the bag, and you’re done. We’re very happy with our decision to purchase these. And they *have* made cleaning easier as we suspected.

We have a small travel trailer and needed a trash can in the bathroom, but one that would not take up floor space. The bathroom has a small closet and the trash can fit just fine mounted on the inside of the closet door. It is out of the way and we don’t bump into it. The way it is mounted, you need to use plastic store bags in it to make it easy to empty the trash. Here are the specifications for the Camco 43961 Cabinet Mount Trashcan 3 quart:

  • Perfect for tight spaces in an RV
  • Mounts to wall or inside cabinet to help save space
  • Spring lid to contain trash
  • Installation hardware included
  • Stays in place when traveling

I bought this for my rv, but ended up buying more because they were great to hang inside my bathroom cabinets for a regular bathroom trash can. They’re light, can use a plastic grocery bag as a liner, provide trash ‘privacy’, and leave my bathroom floor empty for ease in quick clean ups.

Great for hanging on laundry closet wall or other small spaces. I purchased this to install on the wall of my laundry closet to throw away lint and other items i find in our pockets. All hardware was included, my husband installed it on our wall in minutes. It’s very easy to remove the lid and the unit from the wall in order to empty it, and then reattach. The white is very clean looking and the plastic is easy to wipe down (it gets dusty from the lint, both on the inside and outside).

I recently renovated my tiny kitchen by basically miniaturizing everything, smaller appliances, smaller sink, and my sink cabinet shrunk from 27′ to 21′ wide. I was very happy until i realized that there is no wallmount kitchen trashcan that would fit inside. I looked everywhere online, considered diy and was at the point of giving up when, upon googling ‘tiny wallmount trash can,’ i came upon this product. It is tiny, and i highly recommend anyone concerned about its size get out a measuring tape and visualize the limited volume this bin can hold. It is also overpriced for what it is, but it is sturdy and works well. I generally don’t like swing-top lids, but this one has a spring so that the lid snaps back to the close position, which i like. The cover fits securely on the base yet comes off easily when you are ready to empty it. The trash can fits on the backing (the part that gets screwed in) via two small knobs on the backing that get stuck into two holes on the back of the trash can. This fits securely, too, but because of the space between the trash can and the backing, the trash can can rock forward and backward, which i don’t like, but i’ve gotten used to it.

I have a very small vanity where every inch needs to be utilized because i have too much ‘chick stuff’. I’d been keeping a small trash bin under the recessed vanity but my elderly dog has suddenly decided there’s no can he can’t stick his head into/knock over. So, by mounting this i’d free up floor space and potentially keep my poor dog from choking to death, the rascalthe good:takes up very little space; can be hung inside a cabinet, recessed built-in, wall mounted, etc. All hardware, including screws, is included. The tight lid (see below) keeps contents secure. The bad:the ‘swing top’ lid is high tension; it doesn’t swing per se. Rather it’s more of a ‘push on’ lid. So whatever is in your hand–should it be kinda messy–will potentially end up all over the lid unless you’re really carefulthey should more accurately call this a tissue bin. The shiny white plastic is hard to keep clean; just because it holds trash doesn’t mean it should look dirty. The ugly:there’s no reason this should be priced so high; because it is niche marketed to rvers they’ve just tacked on $$$the wall mount isn’t terribly secure. Mine wobbles a bit on the mounting plate; there’s no fear it’ll fall off, but it’s a tad loose. You must use a liner for easy removal. I use plastic grocery sacks vs the proper 4 gallon liners; i’d prefer a mount that allowed the entire can to be easily slid out.

If there were a lot of better. If there were a lot of better options, it might be 4 stars, but they get the extra star for being the most easily found solution to my problem. Problem is my dog eats trash when home alone. His particular favorite is bathroom trash. And sometimes i forget to shut the bathroom door before i leave. I got a simple human step to open can, which he has now mastered. I don’t like bathroom trash in my kitchen, the only other covered trash. I can’t remember how i stumbled across this camco wall mount trash can but i’m glad i did.

Use it by my changing table. I use cloth diapers, but hadn’t yet made the switch to cloth wipes. So i needed somewhere for those nasty boogers to go and here i found my solution. Mounted easily to the wall next to our changing table. The lid comes off a little easier than i want it to but it works for what i need it to.
